Starting a project in Philadelphia, whether it’s new construction, a new business, or home improvements, can feel overwhelming. Through community outreach and feedback, SmartCities team and its partners identified an opportunity to make the permitting process easier to understand and navigate. In 2023, Smart Cities team (just me at that time) introduced a pilot version of the Permit Navigator. This tool was created to simplify the early planning and scoping stages of a project. Today, the expanded Permit Navigator covers all 190 property-related requirements in Philadelphia.

A Salesforce-based deployment to support the BenePhilly program that ensures access to over 22 local, state and federal public benefits for the most vulnerable populations in the City. The project was taken up to support the BenePhilly team when their prime vendor, Benefits Data Trust suddenly filed for bankruptsy and closed all operations

A webapp to lookup traffic crashes by type and severity for selected streets and get a compiled traffic crash analysis and a map for those streets. It uses City hosted data and some cool GIS libraries. Hosted on Github
